Best Military Path to Become a Secret Service Agent?

I'm really interested in pursuing a career with the Secret Service. What military paths or roles would best prepare me for transitioning into the Secret Service? I'm curious about the skills and experiences I need to focus on.

One of the potential pathways to characteristically align with the needs of the Secret Service is through serving in a military police or investigation-related role. This can provide you experience in law enforcement, investigation procedures, and security operations, which are all important for a Secret Service agent.

Specifically, in the U.S. Army, becoming a Military Police (MOS 31B) could be advantageous. This role involves enforcing laws and regulations on Army bases and in other environments. This job can provide you with the practical experience and understanding of law enforcement processes that could be beneficial in a Secret Service career.
