What are the best colleges for economics and political science?

I'm interested in studying both economics and political science in college. Does anyone know which schools have strong programs for these fields? I'd love a school with good networking and internship opportunities.

When it comes to combining economics and political science, several institutions come to mind due to their excellent programs in these areas.

Stanford University is renowned for both fields. The economics department at Stanford is one of the top in the world, and the Political Science department is known for its excellent faculty and rigorous coursework. It's a great environment to study both subjects.

University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) also spots strong programs. Their economics program falls under the Wharton School, one of the most prestigious business schools globally. For Political Science, UPenn's offerings are quite comprehensive and there's an opportunity to specialize, in subfields including American Politics, Comparative Politics, and International Relations.

Harvard University is another top institution offering unparalleled resources, faculty, and research opportunities in both economics and political science. Known for its robust alumni network and resources, Harvard also provides myriad networking and internship opportunities.

Lastly, the University of Chicago has excellent programs. Their economics department is especially noteworthy, given the numerous Nobel laureates associated with the university. The Political Science department also stands out with its focus on rigorous analysis and real-world application of theories.

Remember, the best school for one student may not be the best for another. It's important to consider other fit factors such as location, size, campus culture, and financial affordability. So, while these colleges have strong programs in economics and political science, do also explore other universities based on your preferences and overall fit.
