Best Michigan colleges for computer science?

I'm exploring computer science programs and Michigan schools are high on my list. Any recommendations? Looking for a strong curriculum with good internship opportunities.

You're honing in on a great area; as you probably know, computer science is a high-growth field, and equipping yourself with a solid education in it is a wise move. Several excellent institutions in Michigan offer strong computer science programs:

1) University of Michigan, Ann Arbor: UMich Ann Arbor's Computer Science program is among the top in the nation. It offers both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science programs that provide students with a solid foundation in the theory and practice of computer science. Internship opportunities are plentiful, typically facilitated through their Engineering Career Resource Center which organizes career fairs and on-campus interviews.

2) Michigan State University: MSU's Computer Science program is also reputable with a rich curriculum. They are connected with a range of industries via the MSU Career Services Network which offers various resources to connect students with potential employers, including career fairs and resume critique services.

3) Michigan Technological University: Michigan Tech offers a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with various specialties. What stands out about MTU is the Enterprise Program, which offers students hands-on experience in business and technical areas.

All of these universities have strong ties to the industry and offer ample opportunities for internships. Of course, the right fit will depend on many factors beyond just the strengths of these computer science programs such as culture, cost, location, size, etc. Therefore, you should also consider visiting these campuses to get a clearer idea of which might be the best fit for you. Good luck with your decision!
