Top Colleges for Engineering in the US?

I'm looking into studying engineering and want to know which colleges across the country have the best programs. Seeing a mix of established schools and hidden gems would be awesome. Any tips on this?

There are several exceptional engineering programs across the country. Established heavyweights in the field include the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, and the University of California, Berkeley. These schools are top-tier due to their strong STEM-focused curriculum, Q&A research opportunities, and renowned faculty.

Caltech, although smaller, has a rigorous engineering program with a strong focus on research. Georgia Tech is another school that's well-known for its strong engineering programs.

If you are interested in liberal arts colleges, Swarthmore College, Harvey Mudd College, and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology are hidden gems that offer strong engineering majors with a more intimate learning experience.

Remember, the best program for you may not just be about rank, but also about fit. Would you prefer a larger or a smaller program? More theoretical or more practical coursework? It's worth considering these questions to help narrow your choices. Happy college hunting!
