These programs combine academic studies with relevant work experience, which can be a valuable asset in your future career. Also, Waterloo has a vibrant campus life with opportunities for social activities, clubs, and sports.

3. University of British Columbia (UBC): UBC's Faculty of Applied Science runs engineering courses and is renowned for its research. UBC's campus in Vancouver has a fantastic location with views of the mountains and the ocean. Additionally, the university has a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs for students.

4. McGill University: The Faculty of Engineering at McGill has a variety of programs and conducts significant research. Located in Montreal, this university offers a vibrant campus life and the advantages of living in a diverse and bilingual city.

5. The University of Alberta: Known for its leading-edge research and innovation, the university's Faculty of Engineering offers a range of majors. The campus life is enriched by more than 400 student groups and Edmonton provides a cosmopolitan yet comfortable environment.
