How do you find out which CUNY college has accepted you?

I'm applying to a few CUNY colleges, and I'm curious about how they notify applicants of their decisions. Is there an online portal, or do they send out acceptance letters? Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks!

Sure, I can give you some insight into this. When you apply to any of the colleges in the City University of New York (CUNY) system, you'll use their centralized online application. Afterwards, to check your application status or view admissions decisions, you'd access CUNYfirst, which is their Student Service Center.

You'll receive an email when a decision has been made on your application, but it's a good idea to regularly log in to CUNYfirst to ensure you don't miss any important updates. After logging in, you will be able to track the progress of your application, including which colleges have accepted you.

In addition to online notifications, you'll typically receive an acceptance package by mail if you're accepted. However, always check your online portal consistently for the most updated information. Every college might operate a bit differently, but generally, this should be the process.

Remember to stay proactive and organized throughout this process. Track your application status regularly, respond to any requests for additional information promptly, and feel free to reach out to the admissions offices of the individual colleges if you need any clarification. Best of luck with your applications!
