Definitely, trade jobs can be a fantastic choice for a stable and profitable career. High paying trade jobs often don't require a four-year degree and have a faster entry into the workforce. Here are few trades to consider:

1. Electrician: It requires an apprenticeship, but once completed, you're likely to earn a comfortable salary. Electricians are always in high demand because they maintain the power grids for cities and homes.

2. Plumber: Just like electricians, plumbers are always needed as they maintain and install water systems in residential and commercial areas. Beginning with an apprenticeship, established plumbers tend to earn high salaries.

3. Construction manager: With experience in construction and a few certifications, you could become a construction manager, overseeing projects and making management decisions.

4. HVAC Technician: These professionals are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems in a building. The job usually requires a certification course or an apprenticeship.

5. Welder: This profession requires a high level of skill and usually some sort of vocational training. It is a high-paying job with plenty of opportunities, particularly in industries like aerospace and manufacturing.

6. Radiologic and MRI Technologist: While this requires an associate's degree, it is a high-paying job in the medical field that is highly in demand.

Remember, these all need some level of professional training or certifications so be prepared to invest some time in picking up these skills. Keep in mind that each state may have specific licensing requirements, so it's crucial to know the criteria in your area.
