When are regular decision applications generally due?

I'm planning my application timeline and wondering when regular decision applications are typically due for most colleges. I want to have everything ready ahead of time and avoid any late submissions. Any general advice?

Regular decision application deadlines for most colleges typically fall around January 1st to January 15th. Each college, however, has its own specific deadline, so it's key that you verify these dates on the admissions website of each college you are applying to.

After you've noted down the deadlines, keep in mind that you'll want to complete your application several days or even weeks ahead of the deadline. This allows you to have extra time in case of unforeseen circumstances, and also to review your application thoroughly without rushing. I always recommend students to aim completing their applications by mid-December when possible, that way they aren't scrambling during the holiday period.

It would be a neat idea to create an application calendar where you clearly mark each college's deadline along with reminders for completing different sections of your applications like essays, supplementary questions, etc. This will help you stay organized during this process. Best of luck with your applications!
