As an applicant preparing for Dartmouth College's Regular Decision round for the 2024-2025 application cycle, there are several important things to keep in mind.
Dartmouth's Regular Decision (RD) deadline is typically on January 2. For your application, Dartmouth requires the Common Application, a school report, a counselor recommendation, and two teacher evaluations. Keep these requirements in mind and ensure you have all elements ready in time.
Firstly, note that for the 2024-2025 application cycle, Dartmouth has switched back to requiring either the SAT or ACT--prior cycles were test-optional. Make sure you have scheduled your tests to meet this requirement, if you have not already done so.
For essays, Dartmouth requires a 100-word "Why Dartmouth" response. Show your genuine interest in the college, by including specific programs, classes, activities or professors that appeal to you.
