I'm a finalist for QuestBridge, and I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of using the regular decision option. Has anyone else been in this position and has advice on whether this would be the best path forward?

While your final decision is a personal one, here are a few things you might want to consider:

- Reach: QuestBridge partners with many top-tier institutions, so applying through QuestBridge’s National College Match can allow you to reach several schools at once. It's worth noting, however, that these schools tend to be highly competitive.

- Finances: One major advantage of the QuestBridge Regular Decision process is that if you're a Match Finalist, your application fees to all partner colleges are automatically waived. Additionally, most QuestBridge schools meet 100% of demonstrated financial needs and are committed to helping students graduate debt-free.

- Application Review: QuestBridge applications provide a platform to highlight aspects of your background that you might feel are integral to your story. Many first-generation and low-income students benefit from this opportunity to communicate the full spectrum of their experiences, ambitions, and potential.

Remember, however, that each college still has its requirements. Make sure to review any additional essays or financial documentation required by the colleges to which you plan to apply.
