Stanford's regular decision class percentage?

Curious about regular decision admissions at Stanford—does anyone know roughly what percentage of their incoming class is admitted through regular decision versus early action? Trying to gauge my chances.

The specific split between early action and regular decision can vary from year to year at Stanford, but on average, around 6.5-7% of admitted students are from the Restrictive Early Action (REA) pool and the rest are from the Regular Decision (RD) pool.

However, because Stanford's REA pool is much smaller than its RD pool, the acceptance rate for REA can be higher than the RD rate. Though it's important to note, the admitted students through REA are often among the most competitive and compelling students in the applicant pool.

While applying REA could give a small boost due to the slightly higher acceptance rate, bear in mind that the most critical factor is the strength of your application. So, focus on putting forward your best self in your application, showcasing your established passions, intellectual vitality, character, and your ability to contribute to the Stanford community. That will have a far greater impact than the decision round in which you apply.
