Howard University defer admission process?

I'm considering deferring my admission to Howard University. Does anyone know what their process is like? Are there any specific forms or deadlines I should be aware of?

Deferring admission to Howard University involves a few steps, according to their policy. Firstly, you should secure your spot by completing your Intent to Enroll forms and paying the non-refundable enrollment deposit.

After you've done this, you'll need to write to the Howard University Office of Admissions explaining your reasons for wanting to defer your admission and what you intend to do during your gap year (volunteer work, travel, internship, for example). This letter should be submitted no later than August 1st.
