I'm a QuestBridge applicant and curious about how their regular decision process works. Can anyone provide some insight on the timing and what I should expect after the match process?
Sure, happy to provide some insight! After the Match process results come out (in early December), if you weren't matched to any of your ranked colleges you will transition into QuestBridge Regular Decision.
In this stage, you'll have the option to apply to additional college partners in the QuestBridge network, provided you didn't already apply to them through Early Decision elsewhere. Same as during the Match process, you'll be applying with your QuestBridge application. The regular decision process does not require a fee, and only certain materials—like the QuestBridge Midyear Report—need to be submitted.
The Regular Decision deadlines vary by school but are typically around January 1. You would be considered alongside both the QuestBridge Match applicants who didn't match and the general applicant pool. Decisions for Regular Decision typically come out in late March or early April, following the timelines of the partner colleges.
Remember to communicate with the schools individually, some may require additional steps or want other materials. Be proactive about staying in touch with the Admissions Offices, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Good luck!
