Do you know the regular decision timeline for U of Michigan?

I'm applying to the University of Michigan and I'm trying to figure out the regular decision timeline. Specifically, when do they start notifying applicants about their decisions? Any insight into the timeline would be super helpful!

The University of Michigan operates on a rolling basis for their regular decision process, which means they review applications as they come in and send out decisions continuously throughout the admissions season. While the final deadline to apply for UMich's regular decision is February 1, it is generally a good idea to apply as early as you can since once seats fill up in the class, it can become more competitive.

For regular decision applicants, UMich starts sending out decisions around early to mid-March, although it can sometimes stretch into April. Keep in mind that these dates can vary each year. They will notify you of their decision through the Wolverine Access portal. All the applicant decisions should be released by no later than early April.

That being said, make sure you have your application in as soon as possible to ensure the best chance at consideration, and make sure to keep an eye on your applicant portal regularly after you apply. Don't worry if you see some of your peers hearing back before you—it doesn't reflect negatively on your application at all. Verification and decision timelines can depend on a variety of factors, such as when you submitted your application and the specifics of your application. Good luck!
