Regular College Decision Dates for 2025 Applicants?

I'm starting to get nervous about when I'll hear back from colleges. Does anyone have a calendar or list of Regular Decision release dates for the 2025 cycle so we can anticipate decisions better?

Indeed, waiting for college decisions can feel nerve-racking! To help you prepare, take note that while some colleges specify exact decision release dates, others suffice with a rough timeline like "late March" or "early April". However, I can certainly provide broad deadlines for a number of popular universities:

1. Harvard University typically releases its decisions around the end of March or beginning of April.

2. Brown University and Princeton University traditionally announce decisions on Ivy Day, likely to fall in late March.

3. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) usually releases Regular Decision results in mid-March.

4. University of California (UC) schools, such as UCLA and UC Berkeley, tend to deliver decisions from mid-March through the end of March.

5. University of Southern California (USC) sends out decisions from late March to early April.

6. New York University (NYU) generally releases decisions in late March.

Please note each college could vary the exact date each year and may not make any official statement until a few days prior. Also, decisions may be released in waves even at the same school.

My best advice is to keep an eye on your email and the universities' admissions websites for the most accurate information. While waiting, try to engage in activities you enjoy to help manage any stress. Remember that you've done your part by submitting your applications and the decisions are now out of your hands. Good luck!
