I'm applying regular decision to the University of Rhode Island and I'm curious about how they notify students of their acceptance. Do they primarily use email, mail, or their online portal?
The University of Rhode Island (URI) primarily notifies students of their application decision through their online portal. Once decisions are made, they update the online portal and students are able to see their status there.
Keep in mind that while the primary means of notification is the online portal, URI may also send an acceptance package in the mail. This will typically arrive a little bit later, given the logistics of mail delivery.
Make sure to check the portal regularly once decisions start rolling out!
