What day will universities release regular decisions?

I'm trying to plan out the next few months and I was wondering when universities usually release their regular decision results. Does it vary a lot, or is there a common timeframe most schools stick to?

Regular decision results are typically released by universities in mid to late March, though the specific dates can vary significantly between schools. Some universities may also release their decisions in early April. Each school sets its own timelines, so it's best to check the respective admissions websites for the most accurate information.

For example, Ivy League schools have a tradition of releasing their decisions on what's known as "Ivy Day," which is usually the last Thursday of March. Other highly selective schools might release their decisions in the days leading up to or following Ivy Day.

However, keep in mind that decision release dates can fluctuate from year to year and are sometimes not announced until shortly before the decisions are made available. Checking the admissions blog or social media accounts of the universities you applied to can be a good way to find up-to-the-minute information.

It's also worth noting that the wait can be nerve-wracking, so try to engage in activities you enjoy to help pass the time. And most importantly, remember that no matter the outcome, you're about to embark on an exciting new chapter in your educational journey.
