Georgia Tech Regular Decision 2024 Timing

Does anyone know when Georgia Tech's regular decision notifications will be released for the class of 2024? Trying to plan my schedule around it, and the waiting is really nerve-wracking. Any tips on how to handle the wait?

While Georgia Tech does not publicly announce the exact date for regular decision release, in recent years, notifications have typically been released around the second week of March. Depending on the year, this could be anywhere from March 10th-15th but again, the exact date might vary. Note that Georgia students usually receive their notifications in early March whereas non-Georgia students received notifications in late March.

As for handling the wait, it can indeed be stressful but there are several strategies that can help. Diverting your attention to other activities can be a great way to relieve the tension of waiting for college decision announcements.

1. Stay involved in school: Continue focusing on your current classes and maintaining your grades. This not only keeps you occupied but also ensures that you'll continue to perform well, just in case colleges ask for your mid-year transcript.

2. Participate in extracurriculars: Whether you are part of a club, play a sport, or volunteer, staying engaged in these activities can help distract you from the wait.

3. Plan for alternative outcomes: While it's completely normal to hope for an acceptance, it's also a good idea to prepare for other possible outcomes.

Remember, the waiting period is a part of the process that all applicants go through. Take good care of yourself and try not to stress too much. Best of luck!
