Do I need to submit the CSS Profile for UPenn Regular Decision?

I'm applying regular decision to UPenn and heard something about a CSS Profile. Could someone tell me if it's necessary to submit this, and if so, when the deadline is? I'm trying to keep track of everything.

Yes, the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) does require the CSS Profile for their financial aid process in addition to the FAFSA. The CSS Profile allows the school to understand more about your family’s financial situation beyond what the FAFSA provides, in order to figure out how much aid you may require.

For regular decision applicants, the deadline to submit the CSS Profile is February 1, the same as the FAFSA deadline. Be sure to give yourself ample time to fill out the CSS Profile since it is quite detailed and more comprehensive than the FAFSA, as it includes questions about your family's income, assets, and household expenses.

Note: You may need your parents' help to accurately fill out both the CSS Profile and FAFSA, as they request detailed financial information.
