Is regular decision binding at Tulane University?

I'm considering applying to Tulane University but I'm a bit confused about the regular decision process. Can anyone confirm if the regular decision option at Tulane is binding or not? Trying to figure out my application strategy. Appreciate any insights!

Regular decision applications to Tulane University are not binding. The binding application process usually refers to Early Decision (ED), which is a type of early application process where you commit to attending the college if you're admitted.

In contrast, Regular Decision gives you until May 1st (National College Decision Day) to decide whether you want to commit to a college. This means that after you receive your acceptances, you can compare all your options – including financial aid packages, program details, campus environment, etc. – before making a decision.

Tulane does offer an Early Decision option (actually two rounds, ED I and ED II), which are binding. If you apply through either of these procedures and get accepted, you are expected to withdraw all your other applications and commit to attending Tulane.

So, to clarify, if you apply regular decision to Tulane, it is not a binding commitment and you'll have until May 1st to compare offers and make your final decision.
