International students and QuestBridge regular decision process?

I'm an international student considering QuestBridge for my college applications. Does anyone know how the regular decision process works for international students with QuestBridge? I want to make sure I'm not missing out on important details. Thanks!

Applying to colleges in the U.S. can be a complex process, especially for international students navigating this process. Normally, for situations like yours, QuestBridge has a national college match process, wherein students can rank up to 12 of QuestBridge's partner colleges and get matched to one. However, this service is unfortunately only available for U.S. Citizens, permanent residents, and students, regardless of citizenship, currently attending high school in the U.S.

As an international student studying outside of the U.S., the QuestBridge National College Match process won't be available for you. However, you can still apply directly to QuestBridge's partner colleges using their regular decision processes. Make sure to check each college's official website for their international application guidelines as they may vary from school to school.

For international students, it may be more complex because each college has its individual policies regarding international applicants, so you'll have to go on a case-by-case basis. Things you might have to consider include English proficiency testing and foreign transcript evaluations; again, check the specific requirements of each school you're applying to.

Importantly, while QuestBridge cannot match you, it is still a valuable resource for understanding financial aid options for international students. QuestBridge's partner colleges do offer substantial financial aid to non-U.S. citizens, so you might want to consider that factor when you're choosing your schools.
