Can Emory Scholars apply through regular decision?

I'm interested in the Emory Scholars program, but I'm not clear on whether I can apply through regular decision. Can anyone explain the application process for Emory Scholars?

For the Emory Scholars program, you must apply through the Early Decision I or Early Decision II process or the Regular Decision process, so yes, you can apply via the Regular Decision admission cycle.

However, there is a slight catch. To be considered for the Emory Scholars program, you need to select one of the corresponding check boxes on your application indicating that you wish to be considered for the program. This is important since the deadline to apply for consideration in the Emory Scholars Program (November 15th) is earlier than the regular decision deadline.

So while you're applying via the regular decision process for admission to Emory, you must indicate your interest for the Emory Scholars program earlier and meet that November 15th deadline. You will then submit the rest of your regular decision application by the January 1st deadline.

The admissions office will evaluate all applicants who met the earlier Emory Scholars program deadline and send semi-finalist notifications in February. Finalists will then be invited for an on-campus or virtual interview, after which Emory Scholars will be selected and notified in late March.
