How does regular decision work for Georgia Tech?

I'm kind of stressed about the Georgia Tech application. Can anyone tell me the regular decision deadline and when I might expect to hear back? I'm super interested in their engineering programs.

Certainly! For Georgia Tech, the regular decision deadline is typically on January 6th. While Early Action decisions are released in early December, Regular Decision applicants typically receive their decisions in early March for Georgia students and late March for non-Georgia students.

As far as their engineering programs are concerned, Georgia Tech has a standout reputation. The school offers a wealth of concentrations including Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Engineering, among others.

To improve your chances of gaining admission to one of these competitive engineering programs, it's a good idea to emphasize your interest and related experiences in your essays and your list of extracurriculars. They would be highly interested in seeing your engagement in extracurricular activities that align with your engineering interests, such as membership in a robotics club, participation in engineering-related competitions, or even relevant internships or research. Lastly, remember to keep your grades up in your science and math classes, as they would hold significant weight for their engineering programs.

Best of luck with your application! Georgia Tech is a challenging but rewarding college, particularly for those pursuing engineering.
