Boston College Regular Decision 2024 Timing and Stats?

Does anyone know when Boston College typically releases its regular decision outcomes for 2024 applicants? I'm also curious about the stats for accepted students last year, just to get an idea of my chances. Thanks for any insights!

Boston College usually releases Regular Decision notifications by April 1st, but the exact decision date can vary each year as it depends on things like the volume of applications the school received.

As for the stats of accepted students, during recent admissions cycles, the middle 50% SAT score for admitted students was approximately between 1340 and 1480. For the ACT, the middle 50% range was approximately between 31 and 34. The average unweighted GPA of admitted students tends to be above 3.8. However, remember that these are just averages and ranges; BC reviews applications holistically, so those who fell below these ranges could have still been admitted, and those within or above could have been denied.

While numbers do play a significant role, BC also places a strong emphasis on your essays, letters of recommendation, and extracurricular involvement. Make sure you've put enough time into these other areas of your application as well, and that they're each as strong as they can be.

Good luck with your application!
