UPenn Regular Decision Timeline

I'm applying to the University of Pennsylvania under the regular decision plan, but I'm not sure about their deadline or timeline. Does anyone have details on when decisions are usually announced?

For the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), the regular decision (RD) application deadline is typically on January 5. Please do make sure to check their admissions website for the most updated deadline as it can vary slightly from year to year.

Keep in mind that all your supplementary materials (recommendation letters, high school transcript, etc.) should also be submitted by this date - they are part of your complete application.

After you've submitted your application, the Admissions Office will review all RD applications, usually between January and March. You can expect to receive your decision around the last week of March, but remember that this timeframe is also dependent on the university's specific admissions timeline for that year.

Once your decision is available, you'll be able to access it through the online portal used for submissions. Whether you're admitted, waitlisted or denied, the university will clearly indicate the next steps you should take.

Just try not to stress too much about the decision during these months, and use the time to refocus on your academics or extracurriculars. Best of luck with your application to UPenn!
