I'm a QuestBridge participant eyeing the regular decision process. I'm curious if successfully matching with partner schools through regular decision means a guaranteed full-ride scholarship. Does anyone have insights on this?
QuestBridge's National College Match Program is the only process through which you can receive a full-ride scholarship. This includes tuition, room, and board for all four years of college. The National College Match process happens during the early application period (generally in the fall of your senior year).
However, if you don't match with a college through the National College Match, you can still apply to QuestBridge college partners through QuestBridge Regular Decision. This doesn't mean a guaranteed full-ride scholarship, but most QuestBridge college partners meet 100% of demonstrated financial need for admitted students. The financial aid packages offered will vary between institutions and may include grants, work-study opportunities, and potentially loans, which will help offset costs but it's typically not a full-ride.
Remember to review each school's financial aid policy carefully to determine what their offerings look like. Additionally, use each school's net price calculator to estimate your expected family contribution and financial aid package before applying.
