How does Middlebury's regular decision process work?

I'm interested in Middlebury and want to understand their regular decision process a bit more. Does anyone know what their deadlines are and what kind of decisions they might send out?

Middlebury's regular decision process follows a fairly conventional approach. The application due date typically falls on January 3rd. If you know early on that Middlebury is your top choice, you might want to consider their Early Decision programs. For regular decision applicants, decisions are typically sent out by the end of March.

Acceptance decisions will land into four categories:

1. Admitted: You've been accepted to Middlebury. Congratulations!

2. Waitlisted: Middlebury is considering your application, but depending on the number of admitted students who choose to enroll, you may or may not be offered admission.

3. Deferred: If you applied Early Decision I or II and are deferred, your application will be evaluated again as part of the regular decision pool.

4. Denied: Unfortunately, you did not gain admission.

Remember to keep an eye on your application portal for updates, document requests, or decision notifications. If waitlisted, it's usually a good idea to affirm your continued interest in the college, so they are aware if space becomes available. But always have a back-up plan ready in case the waitlist doesn't pan out. Good luck!
