I'm seriously considering taking a gap year after I graduate high school. I’m curious about the benefits and potential downsides. How does taking a gap year impact college admissions, and what are some productive ways to spend it?

Taking a gap year can be a meaningful experience, especially if you have a solid plan for how you intend to spend your time.
