I'm thinking about applying to Providence College and wondering how much weight they put on interviews. Do you think they can help boost an application? Any experience with their interview process would be awesome!
Providence College actually does not consider interviews as part of its admissions process for most applicants. There are certain students, such as those who graduated from high school in less than four years, who are required to interview with the Office of Admission. For traditional applicants, however, interviews are optional and purely informational - they do not factor into the admissions decision at all.
Even if you are an unconventional student who is required to interview, don't panic. These interviews are designed to be a conversation, not an interrogation, as the admissions committee simply wishes to fully understand your candidacy and the perspectives you'd bring to their campus community. So, try not to stress too much.
