University of Waterloo Architecture Interview Hacks?

I'm super excited to have an interview for Waterloo's architecture program. Does anyone know what kind of questions they ask or how I can make a great impression? Any tips from past interviewees would be awesome!

1. Portfolio Review: Be well-prepared to discuss your portfolio and why you selected the pieces you included. Providing clear and thoughtful explanations of each work -- the conception, evolution, and finalization of the project -- demonstrates your design process clearly.

2. Depth of Understanding: Make sure to delve into your understanding of architecture as a discipline - contemporary architectural trends, famous architects, an architectural work that inspires you, etc. This would demonstrate your interest and passion in this field.

3. Personal Perspective: Depending on the interviewer, they may ask about why you chose architecture, your inspirations, and what you hope to achieve in the future in this field. This is your chance to make a personal connection with the interviewer and show your enthusiasm for the field.

4. Proficiency and Interest in Different Media: Waterloo's architecture program values diversity in media – such as sketching, painting, graphic design, photography, model-making, etc. Be ready to discuss your proficiency in various types of media, and how you use them in your design process.

5. Problem-Solving Skills: You may be asked how you approach and resolve challenges in your work or studies, or how you incorporate feedback. This helps interviewers gauge your problem-solving ability and resilience.
