Scholarships for Twins - Are there any?

Hey guys, my twin and I are going to be applying to college soon and we're interested in finding scholarships specifically for twins. Does anyone know if there are any scholarships out there just for twins? Any leads would be appreciated!

Hi there! It's great that you're thinking about college scholarships for you and your twin. There are indeed scholarships specifically designed for twins, although they may not be as numerous or well-known as other scholarships. Here are a few options to consider:

1. The Twins Days Festival Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded annually to a set of twins who attend the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio. You don't necessarily have to be from Ohio to qualify—it's open to twins from all over the country.

2. The Duey and Ginger Ward Scholarship: Offered by Kansas State University, this scholarship is designed for twins attending the university together. Recipients are chosen based on academic achievement, financial need, and involvement in extracurricular activities.

3. FACHEX (Faculty & Staff Children Exchange Program): While not a scholarship dedicated solely to twins, the FACHEX program allows children of full-time faculty and staff members of participating Jesuit colleges to receive tuition benefits. If both twin siblings qualify, this can significantly reduce the financial burden of attending college together.

In addition to these twin-specific scholarships, make sure to explore general scholarships as well. There are numerous opportunities available for students based on academic achievements, financial need, intended major, community involvement, and more. Good luck to both of you in your search for scholarships!
