Has anyone worked at Disney during a gap year?

I'm dreaming of working at Disney during my gap year. Has anyone here done it? I'd love to know how to apply and what the experience is like!

Taking a gap year to work at Disney can be a great experience as it can provide you with unique employment skills and lifelong memories. Disney offers various programs for individuals wanting to work with them, and one of the most popular ones is the Disney College Program. This program provides students with on-the-job experience working in Disney parks and resorts, college coursework, and networking opportunities.

You can apply for the Disney College Program by going to the Disney Careers website and then searching for the program to submit your application online. Remember that, while it is called the "Disney College Program", you can apply before you start college as long as you've been accepted to or applied to a college or university. The application process usually includes an online application, an online interview, and then potentially a phone interview.

Being a part of the Disney team has much to offer. You will gain valuable working experience in a very unique environment, create lifelong memories and friendships, and learn from one of the most successful companies in the world. Plus, there are often opportunities to attend workshops and seminars about different aspects of the company and to network with professionals within the company. However, do note that the work can be very demanding, with long hours, especially during peak holiday seasons. Be sure to consider this when thinking about joining the program!

Remember to do your research before making your decision, as taking a gap year is a significant step and should align with your career and personal goals. Good luck with your decision, and potentially "see ya real soon"!
