Does University of Florida offer rolling admissions?

I'm thinking of applying to the University of Florida and was wondering if they use a rolling admissions process. Does anyone know how their application deadlines work and if applying early gives any advantage?

The University of Florida does not use a rolling admissions process. They have a set of clear deadlines for their application process. To best position yourself in the process, consider adhering strictly to these deadlines.

For the current application cycle, the dates are typically as follows: The application typically opens in August, and the deadline for the early action application is typically November 1st. If you apply by this date, you'll receive an admissions decision in February. This is non-binding and ensures that you'll have a decision early, allowing you more time to think about enrollment, housing, and so on.

Keep in mind, though, that applying by the priority deadline does not necessarily give a higher chance of acceptance, as UF reviews all applications holistically regardless of when they are submitted. Your overall academic profile and the substance of your application will ultimately be what play the biggest roles in your chances of being admitted.

For students who do not complete their applications by the November 1st priority deadline, the regular decision deadline is typically in mid-January, with decisions released in late March.

Again, it's crucial to check the specific deadlines for the current application cycle on the University of Florida's website, to make sure this guidance is accurate for when you plan to apply.
