How does the University of Oregon's rolling admission work?

I want to apply to the University of Oregon and need to know if they have rolling admission. Does it mean I should apply as soon as possible for a better chance, or is there a different strategy?

It's important to clarify that the University of Oregon does have a rolling admissions process. Students will be notified of their admission decision on a rolling basis beginning in October. Students who apply by the November 1 Early Action deadline will receive a response by December 15. Students who apply by the January 15 deadline can expect a decision by April 1.

Submitting your application early can still be beneficial. For example, if you complete your application before the priority deadline, you'll be considered for the University of Oregon’s automatic consideration scholarships.

Remember, even if the decision isn't made immediately, applying earlier can allow for more time to make sure all materials are in and you have given the best representation of your achievements. So, it's advisable to prepare and submit your application sooner rather than later, while making sure it's the best one you can put forward.
