How does Emory University's admissions process work with rolling options?

I'm planning to apply to Emory University and was curious if they offer rolling admissions. If not, what are the important deadlines I should be aware of for their application process?

Emory University does not follow a rolling admissions policy. Instead, they offer a number of fixed deadlines as part of their application process.

There are two key deadlines for applying to Emory. They offer Early Decision I and II, as well as Regular Decision options. The deadlines typically fall in the following manner:

- Early Decision I: November 1

- Early Decision II and Regular Decision: January 1

For Early Decision (both I and II), this is a binding commitment. If you apply under this plan and are admitted, you agree to attend Emory University and withdraw all other college applications. This is suitable if Emory is your first choice.

Regular Decision, on the other hand, is non-binding. You will get to hear back by late March and you have until May 1 to decide if you wish to accept.

Remember that all these dates are for the application, meaning your Common App/Coalition App and all supporting documents, like transcripts, test scores (if choosing to submit), letters of recommendation, etc., need to be submitted by these deadlines.

Make sure by these deadlines you have also completed the financial aid applications if you are planning to apply for aid.

Every year could have slight changes in dates, so ensure to check Emory's admissions website for the most accurate and current information. Good luck with your application process!
