Is Ohio State University Rolling Admissions a Thing?

I'm super curious about whether Ohio State University offers rolling admissions. If they do, would it be advantageous to apply as soon as possible compared to regular decision? Any advice from those who've applied would be awesome!

Ohio State University does not operate on a rolling admissions basis. Instead, their application procedure follows a series of specific deadlines that you need to keep in mind:

- Early Action deadline: November 1.

- Regular Decision deadline: February 1.

Applying Early Action means you'll receive your admissions decision earlier, usually in January. For Regular Decision applicants, decisions are generally sent in March.

Applying early can certainly have its advantages. Apart from knowing your admission status sooner, it also demonstrates your interest in the university. However, you should bear in mind that Early Action at Ohio State is non-binding, meaning you're not obliged to attend if admitted.

In general, applying as soon as you feel your application is strong and well-prepared is often a good strategy, regardless of the admissions process of the university in question. Take the time you need to present your best self in your application, whether that's for Early Action or Regular Decision deadline.
