What are some of the best trade jobs for women? I'm interested in trades but want to know which fields might be more inclusive or welcoming for women. Any suggestions or insights would be really appreciated!

Absolutely, it's terrific that you're considering a career in the trades! There are several trades that are becoming more inclusive and female-friendly.

1. Electrician: It is one of the better-known trade careers, and as per the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for new electricians in the next decade is expected to be significant. Electricians make good incomes and often have opportunities for overtime and extra pay.

2. HVAC Technician: This is another highly regarded trade job that typically offers good pay and a consistent work schedule. Technicians install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The need for HVAC technicians is expected to rise in the next decade due to increasing energy efficiency standards.

3. Construction Manager: While this career may require more experience in construction, it's a wonderful field with broad opportunities. Construction managers coordinate and supervise construction projects from start to finish. The need for new construction managers is expected to increase faster than the average for all occupations.

4. Welder: This career is part of a highly specialized field where skilled professionals are in demand. It might not be as traditional for women, but it's picking momentum as a high-quality, good-paying trade job option for women.

5. Plumber: With growing demands for skilled services, plumbing is yet another trade career where women can thrive, considering the stability and handsome salary.

As more and more women enter into these trades, each of these fields is becoming increasingly welcoming to female professionals. Of course, the key will always be your personal passion, talent, and dedication to the trade, as these are the most important factors to your success in any career.
