Does GPA transfer when transferring colleges?

If I transfer to a new college, will my current GPA transfer over with me? Or does it reset when I start at the new institution? I'm trying to figure out how much my current grades will impact the transfer.

While your credits may transfer from your previous institution to your new one, your GPA typically will not.
