How to apply to Foothill Community College?

1. Fill out the California Community College Application: You'll start by completing the CCCApply application, which you can find on Foothill College's website.

2. You'll need some information handy while filling out the form such as your Social Security Number (if you have one), your yearly income, and your Alien Registration number (for non-U.S. citizens).

3. Once you have submitted your application, you'll receive a Student Identification Number, or SID, via email within 1-2 business days.

4. After you receive your SID, the next step is to set up your MyPortal account. MyPortal is where you'll be able to access your Foothill email account, register for classes, check your academic progress, and more.

5. Once your MyPortal account is set up, you're ready to register for classes! Foothill releases their schedule of classes for each quarter a few weeks before registration opens.

6. All new students are required to complete an Online Orientation through MyPortal after they apply.
