What GPA do I need to transfer to Baruch College?

I'm thinking about transferring to Baruch College, but I'm not sure about the GPA requirements. Does anyone know what GPA I should aim for, or if there's anything specific Baruch looks for in transfer applicants?

In terms of GPA, while there isn't a strict cutoff, Baruch College does have competitive transfer admissions. Successful transfer applicants often have roughly a 3.3 GPA or higher. However, the strength of your application isn't solely determined by your GPA. The school will also consider the rigor of the courses you've taken, your personal statement, and your extracurricular activities.

It's also good to note that Baruch has specific prerequisites for transfer students, especially for certain majors like the BBA in Finance or Accounting. They require a number of prerequisite courses to be completed prior to transferring, so it's important that you plan for this.

Of course, the higher your GPA and the stronger your overall application, the better your chances will be. It could be worth setting up time to speak with an admissions counselor to gain insight into their process and see how you can best prepare for it.
