Guaranteed transfer options from Arapahoe Community College

I'm attending Arapahoe Community College and am interested in the guaranteed transfer program. How does this work, and which universities offer guaranteed admission if I complete my program here?

Arapahoe Community College (ACC) is part of the Colorado Community College System (CCCS), which has articulation agreements with a variety of 4-year institutions in Colorado, known as "gtPATHWAYS" (Guaranteed Transfer Pathways). Such agreements ensure that if you complete an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree at a CCCS college, you're guaranteed to be able to transfer as a junior to a Colorado public four-year institution, with up to 60 credits applied towards your bachelor's degree.

The 4-year colleges part of gtPATHWAYS include institutions like the University of Colorado Boulder, the University of Colorado Denver, Colorado State University, the University of Northern Colorado, and others. The exact degree programs that qualify for guaranteed transfer can depend on the institution, so you should check with each college.

Remember to meet regularly with your ACC advisor to make sure you're taking the correct courses and staying on track for your degree program. Also, be sure to apply to your intended university and send in your transcripts promptly as part of the transfer process. It's best to reference each school's specific transfer admission requirements to make sure you maintain the GPA they require and meet other conditions for guaranteed admission.

Please note that while admission is guaranteed, acceptance into a specific major is not. Some majors may have additional requirements or may be competitive, requiring a higher GPA or additional coursework. Be sure to check with the specific department at your prospective four-year school for any major-specific requirements.
