Does Allied Real Estate School allow credits to transfer to college?

I've taken some real estate courses at Allied Real Estate School and I'm looking at transferring those credits to a traditional college. Has anyone done this before, or know how it works?

Transferring credits from specialty schools like Allied Real Estate School to traditional colleges or universities often depends on the specific policies of the receiving institution. In general, most traditional colleges and universities accept transfer credits from regionally accredited institutions.

However, Allied Real Estate School, being a specialty vocational school, may not have such accreditation recognized by traditional universities. Additionally, the courses offered at the school are highly specific to the real estate industry and might not fit into traditional college programs.

What I'd suggest is, you should directly contact the admissions or registrar offices at the college or university you're considering. Be prepared to provide them detailed information about the coursework you completed at Allied Real Estate School, including course descriptions and syllabi if available. They will be best positioned to give you a concrete answer whether they would accept these credits and how they would apply towards your intended degree program.

Please note, even though these credits may not be directly transferable toward a degree, the knowledge and skills you've gained from these courses can certainly be beneficial in real-estate focused business programs or if you're planning to work part-time in real estate while attending college. It could also possibly qualify you for certain exemptions if the college offers any related courses. Good luck!
