Community College to DeVry University transfer requirements?

I'm at a community college right now and considering transferring to DeVry University. Does anyone know what their specific transfer requirements are? It would help to know what I need to prepare for the transfer!

DeVry University maintains a flexible and student-friendly transfer policy. The university encourages transfer students and will generally accept credits from regionally accredited institutions.

Firstly, you need to request your official academic transcripts from your community college and have them sent to DeVry University for evaluation. The university will then determine which credits can be applied to your intended degree program at DeVry.

As for the specific number of transfer credits accepted, DeVry University generally takes up to 60 semester credit hours from community or technical colleges. However, the exact number might vary depending on your intended program and the synchronicity of the courses you've taken with the DeVry curriculum, and could end up being slightly more or less.

Outside of the credit transfers, DeVry requires you to have a high school diploma or its equivalent as part of its admission requirements. If English isn't your first language, DeVry may also need proof of English proficiency.

Keep in mind that each student's transfer process can be different. Therefore, it's better to discuss this with an admissions representative from DeVry University. They can provide you with the most accurate and personalized information.

Remember, transferring colleges is also an opportunity to evaluate your career goals and academic aspirations. Make sure DeVry University's programs align well with your plans.
