Farmingdale State College does not have a specific limit for the number of transfer credits they accept. However, in order to earn a bachelor's degree, you need to complete at least 30-credits in residency at Farmingdale State, and at least half of the credits in your major must be completed there. If you are pursuing an associate degree, only 15 residency credits are required.
Additionally, for a specific course to be eligible for transfer, it should be similar in nature, level, and content to a course in your program at Farmingdale State and you must have received a grade of C or better.
