I'm considering transferring to Knox College and am curious if they offer any full scholarships for transfer students. If anyone has info on this or has gone through the process, please share your insights!
Knox College offers several scholarships specifically designed for transfer students who demonstrate strong academic achievement. While there aren't "full tuition" scholarships available that cover 100% of tuition, there are several substantial ones that can substantially offset the cost:
- Transfer Scholarship: Students who transfer to Knox may be eligible for renewable scholarships up to $40,000 per year. Scholarships are available to students from two- and four-year colleges, and universities and are awarded based on the level of academic achievement in liberal arts courses.
- The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: Members of Phi Theta Kappa, the national honorary society for community college students, are eligible for an additional $5,000 renewable scholarship.
All transfers will automatically be considered for these awards upon submitting an application, with no separate scholarship application required.
Remember, scholarships are only a part of the financial aid package. Knox College's financial aid policy allows a student to receive need-based aid up to the student's financial aid eligibility, as determined by the Office of Student Financial Services using the federally mandated Federal Methodology.
