Taking the SAT as a sophomore?

I'm a current 10th grader and was wondering if it's worth it to take the SAT early? I want to be proactive about my future, but I'm not sure if it's too soon or if I should wait until junior year.

Taking the SAT as a sophomore can indeed be beneficial in some cases. Here are a few reasons why you may consider taking it early:
