Applying as a transfer to Macaulay Honors College

I'm in the process of applying to Macaulay Honors College as a transfer student and wondering about the specifics of the application. Are there essays or additional materials I need to provide compared to first-year applicants?

Macaulay Honors College does not typically accept transfer students. The program is designed for students entering directly from high school for a full four-year term. Macaulay's admission is competitive, and students apply to the program simultaneously while applying to one of the eight participating CUNY colleges that offers the Macaulay program.

However, the CUNY system does accept transfers into their regular programs outside of the honors college.
