Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts transfer credit info

Does anyone have experience transferring credits to the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts? I'm considering a transfer and want to know if it's smooth, and how they evaluate previous coursework.

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) does have a general policy that permits transfer credits from other accredited institutions and these must be at a level comparable to courses offered at MCLA. The grades in these courses must be at least a C- or better. The courses must fit into the frameworks of Liberal Arts or Sciences, and what counts as appropriate coursework is defined by the registrar at MCLA.

Now, for a more precise evaluation of your specific credits, you should reach out directly to the Registrar's Office at MCLA. They are in the best position to assess how much, and what parts, of your current coursework could be transferable. You may need to supply them with a transcript and course descriptions or syllabi from your previous institution(s) to allow them to make an accurate determination.

Remember that transferring credits can be a complex process, so make sure to start the process early and keep track of your communication with the registrar's office.
