What are Oakland Community College's transfer partners?

I'm interested in transferring from Oakland Community College to a four-year university. Does anyone know which universities have partnerships with OCC for easier transfer processes? Trying to figure out my best options.

Oakland Community College (OCC) has an extensive list of transfer agreements with four-year institutions to help facilitate a smooth transition from OCC to the university. Here are some of the partnerships they have:

1. Michigan Technological University: Participates in the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) to accept credits from OCC.

2. Eastern Michigan University: Offers a variety of "2+2" agreements, which ensure that students who complete a two-year degree at OCC are on track to get a bachelor's degree after two additional years at Eastern.

3. University of Michigan-Dearborn: Has several "2+2" agreements and also participates in the MTA.

4. Oakland University: Offers a Trio program that guarantees OCC students admission if GPA and other criteria are met.

5. Wayne State University: Similar to Oakland University, it guarantees admission under certain conditions via its "Transfer Connect" program.

6. Western Michigan University: OCC credits transfer seamlessly thanks to their participation in the MTA.

7. Ferris State University: Accepts a broad array of transfer credits for their degree programs.

Remember, these are just a few of OCC's transfer partners. To get a complete list and find more tailored options for your intended major, it's an excellent idea to discuss this matter with the transfer office at OCC. They will be able to provide you with the most up-to-date and meaningful advice. Also, be aware that some schools may require additional application materials or prerequisite courses for certain programs, so it's vital to do some individual research into your preferred schools and programs too.
