Are there scholarships for transfer students at Olivet College?

Hi! I'm considering transferring to Olivet College and am wondering if they offer any scholarships specifically for transfer students. Any insight on what's available or how competitive they are would be great!

Certainly, Olivet College does offer scholarship opportunities for transfer students. Notably, there is the Transfer Achievement Award and the Transfer Distinction Award.

The Transfer Achievement Award is awarded to transfer students who have an earned a cumulative GPA between 2.5 and 3.24 in their previous college-level work. Meanwhile, transfer students who have attained a GPA of 3.25 or higher can qualify for the Transfer Distinction Award. Both of these scholarships are renewable as long as you maintain a certain GPA and are enrolled full-time.

Furthermore, Phi Theta Kappa members transferring from a community college could be eligible for the PTK Scholarship, another merit-based scholarship.

Keep in mind that while these scholarships can significantly offset costs, they are merit-based and may be competitive. Essentially, the higher your GPA, the more aid you are likely to receive.

It is advisable to connect directly with Olivet College's Office of Financial aid for the most accurate and current details, as well as for guidance on the application process and any deadlines you'll need to be aware of. Remember to have your most recent college transcript available when you get in touch with them to ensure the most accurate advice.
